Title: Learn to Grow

The purpose of this project is to understand what makes us fearful of certain things or situations. Asking participants to take a moment and look within to discover what initially makes them fearful of those things and writing them down. The aim of this work is to make you conscious of it and to counter the uncomfortable. I think every negative has a positive, and through doing this exercise, hopefully you can face your challenges physically and mentally, and see the light at the end of the tunnel. In order to complete this project thoroughly and adequately to gather as much insight as possible, I will upload a digital instruction sheet on social media platforms that will be easily accessible to numerous people. This document will contain the details for the activity in a step-by-step concise order that makes it easy to read and follow, increasing the number of individuals able to participate. Due to the simplicity of the project, it can be done and executed anywhere, even in your home and can be produced by an individual or as a group. However, since one part of the project involves starting up a fire, I would recommend that the participants be of appropriate age, if not, seek the assistance of a guardian to perform the activity. In doing this project, I hope to learn more about people by understanding their intimate struggles and challenges, in an attempt to rebuild a sense of community and in turn create social programs that might be able to make something that was negative a positive. Thus, changing the perspective of how we look at and treat certain situations depending on context of the issue(s). The format of this work would be a combination of written statements that are maybe a page long in length no more, and photos corresponding to the instructions given in the prompt that will support my research into this field. To share and present my work I’ll use presentation software and other applications to organize and make concise the written statements and photos I gather in a way that makes sense and strengthens my argument.
